The soon to be ex-wife of Beatle Sir Paul McCartney, one Heather Mills, has begun an all out media campaign in an effort to salvage her tarnished image as the sordid details of her impending divorce come tumbling down, including accusations of an affair with personal trainer Ben Amigoni.
The ex model and anti landmine crusader sat down with Extra to set the record straight about what’s happening with her and Macca.
"I fell in love for the right reasons," she told US television programme Extra, in a brief excerpt which was aired yesterday. "I was just madly in love, blinded by love, and totally, totally madly in love.
"I’m a good mother, I’m a good person. I fell in love for the right reasons. I loved unconditionally."
The four-year marriage "just didn’t work out" she said, blaming the media intrusion for the couple’s break-up.
This is a bit of a tactical change for La Miller as it was merely weeks ago she revealed to media sources that she had evidence of being abused by her husband on tape, that she seeking $100 million since the couple has no pre-nup after McCartney had frozen the couple’s joint bank account and sent Mills’ attorney a letter of complaint that three bottle of liquid cleaner had been taken from his home to her office.
I am not really sure what’s more sad, the fact that the wife of a billionaire stole some Windex, or that a billionaire took legal action over said Windex. If Heather didn’t want to be crucified by the British press, she might have taken a look at Yoko Ono and Linda McCartney before she got into this mess. The crown and title of Most Hated Woman In Britain is reserved strictly for the wives of Beatles. She could have gotten involved with a Bay City Roller and avoided of this.
