"During a court appearance in August, Brown originally pleaded guilty to assaulting two manicurists at Bloomie’s nail salon in Manhattan in August 2004, but attempted to change her plea when she realized her sentence would include regular drug testing and anger management classes. Speaking as she left the courtroom, Marchand fumed, "I have never violated probation. This is happening to me because I’m Foxy Brown."
