Don’t Tell My Parents I’m Dating Jessica Simpson

After spending New Years with our lovely Jessica Simpson, John Mayer failed to mention her once while dining with his family.

"Jessica didn’t come up once in conversation," John’s dad, Richard, told InTouch Weekly. But he apprently insists John is "very private" about his love life. "We never pry," he tells In Touch.

Oh, there’s the internet and gossip columns that will pry; so why not just fess up to your folkes? Does John just want to keep it casual maybe?
