Fred Goldman: Squeezing The O.J. Money Trail

A decade after courts awarded the families of murder victims Nicole Brown and Ron Goldman $33.5 million in a wrongful-death suit, grieving father Fred Goldman continues to justice in the name of his deceased son. The Goldmans have hired a legal team to investigate where the monies Simpson has earned in various tv and movie appearances lies in order to collect on the settlement:

“There is a rational belief that these monies have either been diverted, assigned or payable to someone other than Simpson,” Goldman lawyer David Cook told the wire service. “We’re going to burrow to the center of the earth to find Simpson’s assets,” Cook said. “These subpoenas today seek to uncover and unearth Simpson’s catalog or portfolio of movie residuals.”

Simpson made recent headlines with the near publishing of a book title If I Did It, which was yanked from shelves after a public outcry though Simpson did recieve the payment for his participation. A Los Angeles judge has frozen the assets of the book but Simpson claims the money has already been handed over to attorneys for bills and taxes.

Honestly, where is the justice for these people? They should just put Goldman in a room with Simpson for fifteen minutes and let him make real Orange Juice outta the guy.

    Fred Goldman should move on with life. No matter what he does to O.J. Simpson, Ron Goldman will still be dead. And as for the book, it has nothing to do with O.J., it has to do with the money Fred Goldman wants, and wants bad enough. He says he wants to punish O.J. by denying him a away to profit from the deaths. Well, guess who is profiting from the deaths of his son and the late ex-wife of O.J. I wonder who is the one receiving blood money. And what about O.J.’s children. I see nothing said about the kids. Look who’s greedy, now.

    I say the Goldmans deserve every bit of money they get out of Mr. Simpson, he most definately got away with the murder of Fred Goldmans’ son and Nicole Brown Simpson back in the 90’s, because a jury wasn’t smart enough to add 1 + 1 and get 2 !
