Heather Mills Using Up Her Anytime Minutes

I just don’t know what to think about Heather Mills. On one hand, I think she’s terrific for appearing on Dancing With The Stars and making light of the fact people are taking bets on whether her fake leg will fall off but on the other, I think she’s a bit whiny about being the target of Britain’s hatred as the soon to be ex of The Cute Beatle. Hello, did Yoko Ono just skip her mind? Beatle Wife=A pint of Union Jack flavoured Haterade.

I’m running into a similar conundrum with her alleged misuse of England’s 911 emergency service. After making 4 calls in a 24 hour period, the bobbies had enough and basically told her to shove it:

“We are having to spend a disproportionate amount of time on one particular person,” he said. “We are duty-bound to respond, but clearly people who make lots of calls to the police run the risk of being treated as the little boy who cried wolf.“Officers who have attended previously to find there have been no grounds might not take any claims seriously, and that’s the danger we face.”

Even if she was calling for no good reason, part of me feels like this is just the sort of thing you hear about in court cases where the woman is found all beat up by her husband and the cops didn’t take her seriously by telling her not to waste their time and she should run home and pleasure her man then bake him cookies.
