Travolta Makes Emergency Landing in Ireland

On his way to New York from a German TV appearance, John Travolta ran into some engine trouble while flying his Boeing 707.

He was piloting the plane by himself - with no one on board - and was forced to land at Shannon Airport, Ireland. Travolta hired another plane to complete the journey while the other was being repaired.

It brings to mind a question: Why it Travolta flying a 707 - one that seats a couple hundred people and is kitted with three [3] dining rooms - all on his own for no reason at all?

I think John’s got a problem. An addiction that could cause some issues in the future. But then again, people will do anything to avoid airport security.
