Britney Cancels Comeback Gig

Britney Spears was scheduled to perform a show with her new band, The M & Ms, at the notorious Forty Deuce club in Los Angeles on Wednesday.

We say ‘notorious’ because of these photos that surfaced of Britney exchanging outfits with the club’s strippers - I guess that’s called ironic marketing?

Anyway, this show was part of a slew of semi-secret shows that is supposed to continue next week in LA; but after this cancellation, fans might be expecting an Axl Rose/GunsNRoses kind of comeback.

40 Deuce boss, Ivan Kane, said, "She came on stage during rehearsals, looking very hot, with four back-up dancers and sang three songs. They ran through the set several times, the choreography was smokin’, and she sounded great."

However, apparently Britney needs more time rehearsing, obviously not confident in her skills, and cancelled the show last minute.

We’ll see how this pans out.

P.S. What’s with this half-baked small-club tour? Isn’t this Britney Spears? Where’s this album and what’s her management being paid for?
