White Stripes Cancel Tour Over Health Issue

Indie Rock Darlings the White Stripes have canceled their tour after drummer Meg White had to bow out for medical reasons:

A statement on the group’s website said White was “suffering from acute anxiety and is unable to travel at this time.” “The White Stripes sincerely apologize to their fans … We hate to let people down and are very sorry,” the statement added.

Good thing she’s not on tour with Jack anymore. Him coming around the corner looking like some Dickensian Landlord who would tie you to the railroad tracks if you didn’t have the rent on time:
