Ellen’s Dog Dramatics Heats Up

After Ellen Degeneres wept over how the Mutts and Moms adoption agency pulled an Elian Gonzales like raid on her hairdressers home to take Iggy the puppy away from the stylist’s 13 and 12 year old daughters most of American agreed that it was a cruel thing for the M&M’s to do but the dog eat dog duo behind the charity are standing their ground:

But any sympathy Mutts and Moms owners Marina Batkis and Vanessa Chekroun had for DeGeneres has evaporated. The pair have reportedly received death threats since the show screened and are now taking a stand, insisting through their lawyer, that will not be bullied and Iggy will not be returned. {…}Batkis and Chekroun, reporting on their distress, DeGeneres’s clear breach of a contract, and clear Mutts and Moms rules that say small dogs can not go to families with young children.

I could see if these girls were infants or toddlers who wouldn’t know any better but teens? I think a 12 and a 13 year old are old enough to not pull tails or pinch ears. Get off your Alpo fueled power trip and give the dog back, bitches.
