Amy Winehouse Arrested For Perversion Of Justice

It sounds a lot sexier than it actually is. “Perversion of Justice” by British terms is just another name for effing with the system to manipulate in your favor. She’s been taken in as part of her husband’s Blake Civil-Fielder’s attempt to bribe witnesses in his own legal mess:

A police source said: “This is a very significant development in the investigation.” Barman James King was allegedly offered £200,000 to change his story, after Blake and his friend Michael Brown were charged with grievous bodily harm following a brawl which severely injured King. “As soon as the figure of £200,000 emerged, the finger of suspicion started to point in her direction. How could Blake, who is not wealthy, be expected to come up with that kind of money?” If found guilty of conspiracy to pervert the course of justice Amy could face life in prison.

The ever dramatic Winehouse has vowed, vowed, I tell you! To kill herself before she is seperated from her hubs:

Amy has reportedly vowed to kill herself if she is parted from her husband by a lengthy jail sentence.
A source is quoted as saying: “Amy has had her problems but she is really teetering on the brink. She has hatched a suicide pact with Blake. If they are both handed lengthy jail sentences she is determined they will end it together rather than face five years apart. She can’t live without Blake and her family are worried sick. This could finish her off. She isn’t strong enough for prison life.”

File that one under “Things you can tell by looking at a picture”. She’s not strong enough to get sneezed on without looking like she might waste away to nothing.
