Dr. Phil Sued By Colleagues

Dr. Phil is being hunted down by his own kind for pulling a party foul by discussing Britney Spears’ mental condition with the world without her permission TMZ says:

We’ve learned the person who filed the complaint is a psychologist. Dr. Phil has never been licensed to practice in California, and he retired his Texas license in 2006. The psychologist who filed the complaint also alleges Dr. Phil violated HIPAA laws by “discussing or divulging a patient’s medical condition … with the media,” in reference to a press release issued by Dr. Phil.

I’m sure Dr. Phil thought “everybody else is doing it so why not me?” but I don’t think that gossip rags including this one should be held up as an example of the Hippocratic Oath. I mean, I don’t even know what that means. I think it’s a board game that’s a cross between Hungry Hungry Hippos and Operation! but I don’t know. I’m not a doctor. Just an unemployed loser who hangs out at the toy store with bags of candy and a windowless van.
