Cheech And Chong Are Back!

I don’t usually interest myself with reunions, be it bands or television shows, but hearing that Cheech Marin and Tommy Chong have not only reconciled their long-lived fued but are also touring has put a smile on my face.

Cheech is still lingering some of those old ‘creative differences’ when he says things like, “There’s this veiled hatred,” and “We’ve kind of resolved that;” but I’m optimistic.

The pair have been leading different careers since their split. Marin continuing quietly with bit parts in your favourite movies and TV shows while Chong ended up in jail a few times and wrote a book.

Are they still going to be able to rough it up on stage? Time will tell. No doubt they’re feeling the pinch since comedy legend George Carlin kicked the bucket; and like Carlin, Cheech and Chong are ready to go out on a high note.
